Tuesday 10...M.I.L.K.

Thank you for this cute email Mom! I really enjoyed the pictures and the captions. Puts a little perspective on Life, Love, Friendship & Happiness!

1. How true this is. Keep the love and romance alive everyday! 2. This is why you have to make time to Play. 3. No matter how many times we get hurt, Love is worth it.

4. I love my friends and they do make my world a better place.

5. For me I think this applies to at least '2' people. The boy and the girl!

6. I felt this way yesterday working out for the first time in 2010..sad. ha ha

7. We love our Broccoli aka Roxy, even though she has chewed up 85% of my shoes

8. There is nothing better than sharing good news with friends and family.

So much fun at this age..gosh I miss them being this age. This little girl reminds me of Kassi.

C*STEM Challenge Ambassador

Lauren was chosen out of a few select students in her school to attend the C*STEM Challenge kickoff at TSU. She is a GT student (Gifted & Talented) and in 5th grade.

This little girl never ceases to amaze me! She is so smart and you can tell she loves learning and school. Okay, well maybe she doesn't LOVE school but she is very accomplished and very focused. I am excited about all the opportunities that have come her way and at the age of 10.

The Challenge kicks off the countdown to the National Competition May 8, 2010 at the George R Brown Conventions Center. Lauren sat through an hour presentation and was given several handouts on the competition. She was excited to attend this kickoff in its college setting.

That makes me one happy Mom! I can not wait to see what great achievements Lauren will have in her future.

Cullen's Upscale American Grille

Very lovely place to go with a group of friends or with a Romance!

Cullen's is located off Space Center Blvd and if you are not near that area let me tell you, this place is well worth your drive. Romance and I went there for our 1st (official) date and although we were there after the kitchen was closed, we still enjoyed some beverages and a great atmosphere. Upstairs they have a great big outdoor patio with a huge fire pit that just sets the mood to enjoy the person you are with.

They also have a live band @ Cullen's Live. Music was good although we didn't spend much time with the crowd. We will definitely go to Cullen's again.

When my family comes in to visit this will be a hot destination spot to take them.

So Sweet Together

This weekend is crunch time for the preparation of their nuptials.

I still have to find my shoes and help Bridezilla with any last minute items..Really she hasn't been Bridezilla at all which is great. When she made the announcement that she was engaged and asked me to be a Bridesmaid my Inbox was soon loaded down with a "How to be a good Bridesmaid" handbook lol.

I thought to myself "OMG!" "What did I get myself into?" She has been very easy through this whole process but I am sure that now that it is getting down to the wire..the pressure is on. So I am reviewing my Bridesmaid handbook so I can take on whatever dilemma she may have in the next 2 weeks.

I can't wait for her big day! She really has found herself an amazing man!
