Today is my Dr.'s appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon so wish me luck!

The good news is, I haven't had to wear my brace for the past couple days and I even drove myself to work today and felt comfortable doing so and the swelling is pretty minimal. I am sure my recovery will be better than I had initially expected. I guess after I see the Knee Doc I will know more.

I had a wonderful weekend but had to watch 2 disappointing sporting events. One was the beatdown of Saturday nights UFC match and the other was of course the Cardinals loss to the Steelers. Ahh booga! They were so close, but yet so FAR away. I am just happy that it was a close and good game. I am going to be a lost soul on Sundays now. What to do with my time? Anyone have any good reads to share with me?

IT'S BEEN A HOT MINUTE SINCE I'VE POSTED: CATCHING UP A BIT!

The Girl finally got to meet Lil B! I am still not sure if she liked him more or all his cool baby gadgets! J/K of course she loved him more..he just slept a lot so she had to entertain herself. We had a really nice time hanging out with the 1st Family.

Below I am at Boudreaux's celebrating my friend Johnny's birthday. That is all I do these days is go to Birthday parties! :-P

This past Saturday I just hung out with Gigi & Sara.

The kids spent the weekend with Grandma (Friday night) and their Uncle Kostas/Aunt Holly (ha ha) on Saturday. I didn't get my children back until after 4:00pm Sunday. Grrr! I missed those little guys. So I spent Sunday afternoon watching football. I am so excited it is Football season again. My team plays tonight...a late game so I am sure tomorrow will be fairly unproductive. LOL

GO DENVER BRONCOS! BEAT THE RAIDERS!!!

Weekend Update!

SuperBowl XL II New York Giants!

What an awesome game. I actually stayed home this year with the kids and enjoyed the game. Wasn't super impressed with commercials though. Half time show was okay. Nothing too exciting. I am just happy it was a good and close game. My poor daughter had to cover her ears a couple times when I bursted out with excitement when Eli threw the last TD pass to Tyree! I was super excited for Stephanie who is a HUGE Giants fan. I remember the feeling of seeing my Broncos do it *Back to Back* I love this game. Can't wait until the fall again. What will I do with my Sundays? Pro Bowl anyone? ha ha

37" Mitsubishi HD Flat Screen TV

I finally got myself a little flat screen TV *just in time for the big game* Nothing too fancy considering I log in about 6 hours of TV a week if that. But it was time. I realized my little 19" TV didn't have the connections to even hook up a DVD player so I decided I needed to go for it. Of course this is after I gave the kids the 32" for their Wii and other gaming consoles. :-) They are so spoiled.

The kids and I went with GiGi on Sunday to see The Bucket List. It was a real tear jerker and of course a great movie. One minute you are laughing and the next you are wiping away tears. I def. reccommend it, especially if you are a M. Freeman or Jack fan. Other then that it was a pretty quiet and lovely weekend. Especially our weather on Saturday. Blue skies in Houston, quiet a rarity.

It's A Suite Life

As you all know I was born a Broncos fan, so when my ski buddy called me up and asked me to join him at the game I almost fell out of my chair. I had been trying to get tickets on eBay and on Craigs List with no luck. It doesn't help that my budget is a bit restricted at this time. I had an awesome time and I even ran into an old classmate. How crazy is that?? Small world! Too bad my guys lost but it was really a win win situation for me because I am also a Texans fan. People in the stands must of thought I was nuts because I was cheering for both the offense and the defense at the same time!!!
